Rabbit Hutch Hare Hutch Basement Free Enclosure Spruce Wood
For the keeping of bunnies, rabbits, and guinea pigs respect the needs of those animals, there is room required for daily movement and a safe refugium where the animals are protected from enemies and weather. This rabbit hutch made from spruce wood has two levels and can complete a large free enclosure for keeping of small animals. The upper level is a barn elevated so that the free enclosure ranges over the entire floor space. The animals access the barn via a non-skid ramp.
The hare hutch is 124.9 x 67 x 117.6 cm (LxWxH) and well accessible thanks to several doors. The lower and upper level have both two doors to allow easy cleaning and handling. The floor of the barn is a dirt bin that can easily be removed and comfortably cleaned. The walls of the enclosure and parts of the barn front are equipped with wide-meshed wire to allow sufficient air supply. The roof, coated with bitumen, protects the inhabitants of the hutch from rain. The wood of the barn is vanished and the door fittings zinc-coated so that the barn resists to weather.
Note: Pygmy rabbits, for instance, are highly social animals and should be kept in groups of at least three. This group needs at least 6 square metres of floor space plus a separate sleeping house for each animal.
